Description
The bald eagle, sometimes called a fish eagle because it feeds mainly on fish, is known to be the emblem of the United States. Also called bald eagle simply for its entirely white head, it lives near the coast, on the banks of rivers, shores and lakes or the edge of the oceans. By these shrill and piercing cries the eagle warns the intruders that the territory is defended.
Did you know that the nest of an eagle can reach 4 meters deep, 2.50 meters in diameter and can weigh up to 3 tons, almost the weight of a heavy weight?
