The goal: to combine tiles of identical shapes or colors. If the rules are simple, victory requires tactical audacity and a well-developed strategy. Qwirkle's rules explained in 30 seconds: - The goal: to make lines of tiles having the same shape or the same color (for example, a line of yellow tiles or a line of square tiles). - Each player begins by drawing 6 tiles at random. - You can play as many tiles as you want in a row (1, 2 or even 6 tiles at once). - We pick up as many as necessary to always have 6 tiles. - With each move, the player scores as many points as there are tiles in the row (for example, if I play the 3rd and the 4th tile in a row, I score 4 points). - Completing a row of six tiles earns 6 points plus an additional bonus of 6 points (or 12 points!). - When a tile completes two lines (one horizontal and one vertical), we mark the points in both directions. - Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins. Qwirkle consists of 108 wooden tiles with 6 shapes in 6 different colors. Each player tries to score as many points as possible by making rows of tiles with a common color or shape.
