Description

In the cozy atmosphere of English tearooms of the Victorian era, friends and lovers show their affection by exchanging bouquets of flowers, the Tussie Mussie. But the bouquets must be carefully composed, because each flower has its own meaning! Offer flowers, apply their effects, compose bouquets and score more points than your opponents in this subtle card game with deliciously twisted mechanics, which also offers a particularly ingenious solitaire mode.

Subtle, intense, elegant

Tussie Mussie is a particularly elegant card game that invites players to exchange cards representing flowers, each of which obviously has its own meaning… and its effects. The object of the game is to get the most points after 4 rounds.

On his turn, the player draws two cards and consults them. Then he places them in front of an opponent. One face up, the other face down. This player must then choose which one he keeps, placed in front of him. The other is then returned to the first player, dragging it in front of him. The face down card is therefore never turned over, only the player who drew it knows its nature.

This mechanism is remarkable for its simplicity… but also for its perfidy. Which card to take, which card to leave? As you establish your strategy as the cards are collected or given, you can try to combine them to maximize the points obtained. And since the game is 18 cards, you can also try to deduce which cards you have not seen pass. Are they in the draw pile, in the hands of your opponents, or face down in front of you? The intensity of the games is remarkable and allows for particularly spectacular turnarounds.

The solo mode, which is particularly nice, also allows you to have fun and challenge yourself alone.
